The American Chamber of Commerce Coral Sea (AmCham Coral Sea) is a private, independent non-profit organization that promotes commerce, trade, and investment between the United States of America and the Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. The AmCham Coral Sea seeks to increase prosperity through American partnership in the Coral Sea. The members of the Chamber have the opportunity to enjoy the business benefits and services that the AmCham Coral Sea offers to promote business opportunities and partnerships. All applications are considered on an individual basis by the Membership Subcommittee to ensure that the qualifications for membership are met, and will be approved by the Board of the AmCham, which has the ultimate authority to approve all membership applications. Applications will be voted upon at the next regular meeting of the board following receipt of the application. An interim honorary membership may be granted in the event that the application falls several months in advance of the next board meeting.
