Virtual Information Session with Beth Riley on International Education Opportunities
Our recent virtual information session held on the 3rd of August 2026, with Beth Riley, Director at South Dakota Mines' Ivanhoe International Center, was a huge success! Hosted in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Port Moresby and AmCham Coral Sea, the event brought together professionals and students eager to explore top programs in Earth Sciences, Geology, Mining Engineering, and emerging Technologies.
Beth shared inspiring insights on fostering international collaborations and highlighted exciting opportunities for study, research, and partnerships with PNG’s mining and resource sectors. Attendees gained valuable knowledge on building meaningful global connections that can drive innovation and development.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us online—your engagement is key to creating stronger international pathways and unlocking new possibilities for education and resource collaboration in Papua New Guinea.
